Valentina Biagioli

RN, MSN, PhD

is a Research Fellow at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, Italy, since 2017, for the “Health Professional Development, Continuing Education, and Research Service”. She is a lecturer at ‘Sapienza University of Rome’. She achieved her PhD in nursing in 2017 at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ with a thesis on protective isolation in HSCT patients. She is the author of more than 60 scientific articles. Her research interests include paediatric nursing, cancer care, self-care, symptom monitoring, quality of life, palliative care, pain assessment, patient education, continuity of care, and professional competency.
