Roberto Picchi

NURSE

Roberto Picchi is a nurse, born in Lucca on March 12, 1981. He graduated from the University of Pisa and has been working as a pediatric nurse at Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence since 2013.  He carries out his activity in the Emergency Department and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. He has been collaborating with Emergency NGO in field projects since 2016.

As his first experience with Emergency, he worked at the Maternity and Paediatric center in Anaba, Panshir Valley, Afghanistan. In 2021 and 2022 he worked as head nurse at the Paediatric Surgical Hospital in Entebbe, Uganda.
