She is the head of Professional Development, Continuing Education, and Research Service at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital IRCCS, Rome, Italy.

Responsible of Research Unit Sciences of the health care Professions and leads and promotes research at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital.

She is a member of the Pain Management Committee, Clinical Ethics Committee and Continuing Medical Education Committee of the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital IRCCS.

Author of more than 35 publications regarding different issues such as: paediatric nursing, pain assessment in children, cancer care, palliative care, self-care, symptom monitoring, patient and family education, continuity of care, and professional competency.
