I have many years of experience of working with acute ill children and adolescents, and their families, in the paediatric emergency department, Crown Princess Victoria’s child and youth hospital, Linköping, Sweden. I combine my clinical work with research at the Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences at Linköping University. My research area is mainly about sleep, stress, quality of life and mental health in families with a child in need of medical care and how to improve child- and family centered care regardless of the child’s diagnosis. I am also board member of the Swedish Association of Paediatric Nurses.
