Alberto Villani is Functional Coordinator of the University and Hospital Pediatrics Clinical Area, Head of the General Pediatric and DEA II Level Unit, Head of Research Unit “Pathogenesis and innovative therapies in infectious disease”, Director of the Institute of the Child and Adolescent at the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome and Associate Professor at Tor Vergata University of Rome, Department of Systems Medicine.

President of the Italian Society of Pediatrics (2016-2021) and President of the ANABO Association (since 2022).

Author of numerous National and International publications (Impact Factor: > 300; HI 24).
